My inbox is immaculate

I am a frequent Facebook/Twitter user and I have noticed almost daily the status updates of friends talking about their email inbox. It is astonishing to me that so many have over a thousand email. Some even in the upwards of 5,000. I get into a panic if mine even goes to 20. I have a tendency to keep an immaculate inbox. I have folders that keep email in particular categories and I do a folder cleaning every few months just to not let them build up with a bunch of useless trash. I also keep my Smart phone on my 24/7 so that my new mail never builds to more than about 10-15 unread messages. I can say that I have a very well organized email system. Now if only my office and house can be that way....

Nickelodeon launches Dora the Explorer's 10th Anniversary

I just wanted to pass along some information to all the Dora fans and parents of younger children. Nickelodeon has launched Dora The Explorer's landmark tenth anniversary with 'Beyond the Backpack' pro-social campaign to champion school readiness. You can read the full press release here.

Dude, get out of my personal space

Okay, I am about to rant and carry on. Why oh why do people like to stand all up in your personal space? I can't stand when I am in line at the store and some fool is standing practically on top of me. I take an extra step forward and the fool takes one too. I am too nice of a person to be rude and tell them to back the hell up. I really don't like that at all. Also I do not appreciate when people touch my hair and start playing around with it. This happens to me all the time! Does anyone understand what personal space is?? Let me not get started on random strangers in the store that touch little William's mouth. There was this one morning that a little old lady decided she did not want William to stick his tongue out so she thought she would do him a favor and stick it back in his mouth. Once again, way too nice of a person to start something. I whipped those baby wipes out mighty fast!! I stay in my own space and would appreciate others to do the same!

Catch and Glow Bug Jug Review

I was offered a toy to review from *Ebeanstalk for William's age. We recieved the Catch and Glow Bug Jug by Lamaze. Before I could even finish pulling the toy out from the box it was shipped in, William was grabbing for it. I had to go in another room just to be able to take it out of the packaging so he could freely play with it. The jug part of this toy has a flip open lid that has a kaleidoscope top. The little "glow bugs" flicker when they are moved around giving the effect of fireflies. William loves it! He most enjoys seeing the colors from the top of the jug as they change with the kaleidoscope feature. I was a little disappointed that one of the glow bugs did not work. It did not effect his interest in the toy one bit. I think this Catch and Glow Bug Jug would be a great baby shower gift or a good one-year birthday gift.

*Ebeanstalk is a website dedicated to selecting great toys for 1 year olds and toys for 2 year olds. They have a team of moms and a team of child experts that help them pick out toys by age, so you can be sure your child gets toys that have been specifically matched to his or her age!

Disclosure: I was provided with a toy for review and received no further compensation for this post.
