This was me back in high school when I was just 17. In those days I wore a size zero and I loved to dress up for school. This shot does not show you how big my hair was in the front! Dwayne took this photo when he decided he would just waltz into my class during the middle of the school day. As you can see I was not exactly happy about it since he popped up and surprised me. Hey, he could have at least given me a heads up so I could be ready. I remember everyone thinking it was so cute of him to take a random picture of his girl. Senior year was amazing! :)
Hmm, I wonder why was I holding my folder while everyone in the background was doing school work?

This photo was taken about 10 years ago on a day trip we took to Charlotte, NC. They were all squinting from the sun shining directly on them. The girls were four and six at the time. I even remember the clothes and shoes they were wearing. Look at Chardie and her peace sign. She got that from her daddy <---He is the tacky one. I can't believe within the next week and a half the girls will turn 14 & 16. I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend...be safe :)

Check out your boy, old school style. He refuses to live any other way. Remember when all television service went digital? He thinks he can beat the airwaves and catch a local channel. Bless his heart.
This all comes from the man who still listens to cassette tapes. All you younger bloggers must be scratching your head wondering what that is! haha!!!

Flashback Friday- The "big hair" days
My BF from High School posted this a few weeks back from the high school days. I kept the beauty supply shop in business with my cans and cans of stiff holding hair spray!

Flashback Friday- 16 years of marriage
Today is Dwayne and Shelly's 16th wedding anniversary!
We are both very proud to be together and look forward to many, many more anniversaries to come. What a wild and crazy ride it's been. We have endured hard times, three children, recovering from hard times, fun times, crazy times, sad days, happy days, non-stop shenanigans, growth and most importantly we have loved each other unconditionally the whole time.
This felt poster from over 16 years ago has been hung up in every place we have lived. It remains on our upstairs hallway wall so each morning we walk out of our bedroom it's the first thing we see. It's a reminder of the promise that we will love each other and stay together FOREVER.

Flashback Friday
Aww just look at my girls when they were little! They were 4 and 6 when these shots were taken. They were doing a coloring activity together. Everything was always so organized and clean. Of course Hurricane Willie has changed that now!
Look at those cute faces. They are now 13 and 15 and even though they are best friends still, you won't ever see them hug like that anymore~!Flashback Friday & our 400th post!
It just dawned on me that we are on our 400th post! Thanks to all of our friends that have been following us and taking time to leave comments. I never really thought we would get this far or we might run out of things to say so I guess I was wrong! I leave with this great old school hit and the Ismail family theme song. Have a great holiday weekend!
