What happens after you cook?

I have been married for a little over 16 years now and for the entire time I get made fun of for what I do after I cook a meal. I allow the food to cool slightly (maybe 20-30 minutes) and then I pack it all up in containers and put it up in the refrigerator. I am not one of those people that leaves food out ALL day long. Sorry, the idea of getting viciously sick to my stomach is not appealing! This most especially applies to poultry. So what do you do after you cook?

  3. Since it's just me and Mari, I try to cook only enough for me and him. We aren't big leftover eaters, so what I cook we usually eat up right then and there.

  4. I try to cook and eat about 30 minutes later. I like to eat my food already warm. Then again I don't even do most of the cooking. So, I will just keep my mouth shut! Carry On :)

  5. People leave their food out on the stove all day??? While I'm not always diligent enough to make it up in tupperware, I'm dern sure stuffing those pots/pans into the fridge as best as they can fit. I agree, definitely not cool to leave the food out on the stove just sitting. I invest way too much time/energy into meals to let it just go bad (which would also kill my plans to have leftovers later in the week).
