So much for a break

I am sure that in most places it is officially winter break (from school). I went and has this really smart idea of scheduling dental and doctor appointments since school is out. Apparently everyone else had the same idea. The physician's offices have been jam packed and the wait has been lengthy. I feel like I have been busier than when the girls are in school! I have not even been updating my blog. I have another full day today and tomorrow but I do plan to rest a bit on Thursday and Friday. I might do some last minute shopping (strictly for bargains). I have not even planned any big spread for Christmas. I am going to cook something very simple and less formal. Once Sunday hits I will be ready to tear apart all signs of Christmas so my house can be clean and ready to ring in the new year. I hope you all are having a great week so far :)

  1. I won't tear Christmas down around here til the 1st of the year. I am cooking a feast too. It's the one time of the year that I do. I am not into Thanksgiving cooking.

Here's to your easy Christmas and hopefully a few easy breezy days.

  2. Since I feel I haven't had a chance to enjoy all things Christmas, the decor may stay a while!

  3. Oh bummer @ the long wait in the doc's office. You know, that didnt even occur to me. I made 2 appointments for next week. Hope it isnt too bad.

Yes, our holiday dinner is going to be simple and sweet as well!

hahaha @ tearing down Christmas. I'm not tearing it down til January 14th!!!! (Yes, I'm one of those! Lmao!) So sad to see it go I prolong until the VERY last minute.

  4. I was just telling my friend that Christmas dinner will be simple and yummy. LOL. But the tree stays up until the first week in January.

  5. I'm so with you Shelly. I didn't schedule Dr appts. but with the kids being home, it's hard to get things done. I just updated my blog yesterday. First things first, right?
