Nutella® is what's for breakfast!

Growing up in a West Indian home, we never ate what the other "normal" kids ate for breakfast. Where everyone had pancakes, pop-tarts and cereal, we had channa (chick peas), boiled eggs and sardines (yeah no laughing please)... Not your everyday kind of thing. One memory I do have is Nutella® hazelnut spread. I won't lie, I did not care for it so much. Funny thing is I got a jar of it about a month or so ago and between me and the girls we devoured it in about 4 days. I guess I did not appreciate it since our family seemed to be so different. The great thing is my kids love it. It is made with high quality ingredients including hazelnuts, skim milk and cocoa. The texture is so unique and irresistible. It tastes great on whole wheat toast, bagels and waffles <---ask me how I know ;-) Nutella® contains no artificial colors or preservatives and is a great change from the "normal" breakfast foods.

    I tried Nutella for the first time about 2 weeks ago and I LOVE the stuff! I have had it one a whole wheat bagel and a whole wheat piece of toast. I'm not a waffle fan, but I may give your suggestion a whirl! LOL Thanks for the opportunity to snag another jar. :-)

    Nutella is FABULOUS! We all love it here on whole-grain waffles at breakfast, on sandwiches as a snack, or on graham crackers with some apple slices! It's my kids' favorite spread!

    I've never tried this before. I think peanut butter l jelly took its place in my home. We ate sardines & boiled eggs too but not for breakfast. I think it'll go good on bread. I'll have to taste it first to see what else I would put it on. I'm going to put this on my grocery list now. Even if I don't win I have to try it for myself.

    Yes, I have tried it and love it. Lived in rural China for a time and Nutella became one of my dearly loved staples! I just ate it right off the spoon! It also goes well on the sweet bread I used to pick up at the market. It really is great stuff.

    I've had it for about 14 years now. I'm obsessed with it, and the 1st time was when I was in Italy at 18 years old. My favorite way to eat it is by the spoonful, but I've also had it on toast, in cookie recipes, & on top of brownies as an icing.

    I love Nutella--during the summer--we go to the beach a lot--I bring my Nutella it gets hot and runny and we dip strawberries in it---and it is fabulous!!! We also love to make a roll of crescent rolls and put a little Nutella in them--they're really yummy!!

    I love Nutella!!!!! My absolutely favorite thing to do is get a sturdy piece of whole grain bread and toast it. Then I put a smear of peanut butter on, and then I top it with the nutella. That with a glass of milk is THE best breakfast in the world!!
