Hey guys, it's close to that time of year again...the time I dread. Back-to-school means lunch ideas. I start off great and then I get to the point that it feels like the girls take the same thing week after week. I am in search of some good (and frugal) lunchbox ideas. Please share your suggestions in the comments. Thanks in advance!

  1. For sandwiches I tend to like peanut butter and jelly, egg salad, tuna salad, and of course cold cuts.

Then there's tupperware with fresh fruit cut up (honey dew melon, cantaloupe, watermelon, grapes, sliced apples & pears).

    Assorted chip/cookie bags

Random: String cheese, pickles, mixed nuts, granola bars, hot soup in a thermos, various types of salad in tupperware with dressing on side.

And then of course there's left over dinner from the night before.... unless that's for the next day's meal. I just know Derek isnt the biggest fan of leftovers, so I have a feeling once I get to the "lunch packing" stage with the boys they'll be taking some of that to school, since daddy is spoiled and likes a fresh meal each day. *rolling eyes* LOL
