I was thinking about my children (which is nothing unusual) and how when the girls were little I was one of the youngest moms of the bunch. Most moms has already hit their mid 30's and even 40's. I did not fit in at all. Funny thing is with William, I will be one of the "older" moms. How crazy is that? I wonder if it will be the same just that I will be older this time around?! I just can't win :/
Oh but honey, you have already won. You have a fabulous husband and three lovely children. The other moms don't know what they are missing if they don't make you feel like a part of the group because you are FABULOUS!
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way when Nae. When she went to kindergarten, I felt like a kid because everyone seemed so older. I didn't notice it with Zilla because I was too busy chasing that kid around! I totally agree with Kristin, you ARE so amazing, their loss!

When I had my first daughter. I was the youngest mom around...now, I just kinda fit in with the other moms. I sometimes wonder if I look as old as they look. It kinda inspires me to work out more and put on a little make up so I can look cute. LOL
ReplyDeleteYou are in my mind. This is a blog post that has been floating around in my mind. Especially since attending a few events just this week and I felt like the "OLD HEAD" of the group. Very interesting perspective. I like the way Kristin thinks. I will keep this in the forefront :)
