Got Milk?

I am NOT a fan of milk but I do know how much I need to drink it during pregnancy. In order to make it appealing, I add Hershey's Strawberry syrup to 2% milk and it MUST be in a wine glass. My kids stay on me about drinking milk so I really would not have a choice anyway. I will "milk" all the attention I get from them while I can because once the baby is here I will be just plain old mom again. Oh well, I will be a princess while I can!


  1. Milk in a wine glass?? Talk about tricking yourself into doing something you know you I like it. And, it's strawberry too! One of my favorite beverages :)

  2. I like your idea of milk in the wine glass! I'm not a huge milk drinker either, so when I was pregnant with Zoe, it was torture to drink it. Do milk it for all it's worth. Though, after the baby is born, your two girls will be like second mommies to the baby!

  3. I have problems with cow milk. I tend to drink rice or soy milk instead.

  5. Cow's Milk is for baby cows. If you want to get "calcium" "vitamin D" ...Because of heavy promotion by the American dairy industry, the public often believes that cow's milk is the sole source of calcium.

    Don't feel the pressure to drink milk Momma.

    1) vitamin D is one of the few things that is naturally produced by the body. However, in order for this to happen, we need to make sure we get plenty of sunlight.

    2) we can get out vitamin D from other sources besides milk. Vitamin D can also be found in many kinds of fish as well as well as cod liver oil.
