It's getting to be that time of year again...parents you know just what I'm talking about. School is about to be back in session here in Columbia and I know it has already started back in a lot of other cities. My car has been tuned up, oil and filter changed, wipers checked and all greased up and ready to go go go! My mommy taxi driver gig is back in session! I have already started driving kids to tryouts and practices. This week is orientation and registration for both girls. I will be driving for at least an hour or two each day (not counting waiting periods). Too bad kids don't have gas money hee hee!

With back-to-school quickly approaching, I am starting to brainstorm some ideas for breakfast, lunch and after-school snacks. With the girls being in 2 different schools this year there is very little time to actually cook each day. Toaster Strudel is a great option for a quick breakfast in the morning. I won't lie, I have even stolen one on occasion from the kids to have with my coffee on the go! We are big fans of the Cream Cheese Danish variety. You can't go wrong with the hot, yummy flaky layers of pastry and the do-it-yourself icing!
A great little after-school snack or an evening snack would be Totino's Pizza Rolls. I remember having these when I was a teenager after school. These are great because the kids (or husband) can heat them up themselves.
