That means he's up at night, and we're having him in our bed so we can keep him in our room and keep an eye on him. Like you, I'm hoping the older kids being home in the summer will change the pattern. G/L to you, and to me! :)mail4roseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17850985344834209198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1613068493835754905.post-9337171664937680172010-05-24T02:58:19.897-04:002010-05-24T02:58:19.897-04:00I wish Jay would stop taking naps too, but I don&#...I wish Jay would stop taking naps too, but I don't know if I could deal with him all day long. If he didn't nap, he would have a better chance at wearing out earlier...sigh.sheena@sophistishe.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02068279894697795400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1613068493835754905.post-68011895371207240612010-05-21T12:50:02.733-04:002010-05-21T12:50:02.733-04:00I believe my son was about 3½ when he stopped taki...I believe my son was about 3½ when he stopped taking naps. I don't really think that it's healthy for a kid to stay up so late at night.Color Business Cardshttp://www.uprinting.com/Business-Cards.htmlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1613068493835754905.post-32774475258934323252010-05-20T20:21:51.234-04:002010-05-20T20:21:51.234-04:00I know what you mean! Its the only time we can get things done, and both time-frames are short.

However, unlike William, Chase is a monster without his afternoon nap. He is so cranky and irritable, and the tantrums are doubled.

Have you tried getting William up early with you? Eventually he will start getting tired earlier. Chase is up at 6:30 am daily (including weekends - bummer!) since we have to go to work/daycare. But, as a result, his little body is plum wore out by 7 pm. So it's good (in that after 7 pm is MY time), but a little annoying (cuz i dont EVER get to sleep in on the weekends)~ Yhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17840261047913991279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1613068493835754905.post-61122541714148324942010-05-20T17:19:32.958-04:002010-05-20T17:19:32.958-04:00Gabe was probably about 6 months older than Willia...Gabe was probably about 6 months older than William is now when he quit taking naps. I forced the issue a bit because he was staying up so late at night. I missed naps horribly but the trade off was worth it.Kristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10791317184998122691noreply@blogger.com
